Ghost Year

It's the first day at a new school for Kenny, a quiet, imaginative kid from Colorado. He doesn't know anyone. His mother has just died, leaving behind many questions.  And he's being haunted by a ghost. His escape from all of this might be Eva, an icy, unreachable girl at a nearby Catholic prep school, with something slightly off about her.
